CUMMING, Ga. – A burglar kept a homeowner out of her own home by pushing against the front door.
The homeowner in the 4200 block of Shiloh Drive had arrived home about 1:30 p.m. Aug. 25, and was trying to come in through the front door, but a burglar was on the inside pushing back against the door.
“When she finally got through, she said she saw a male wearing a black shirt run out of the back door,” according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report. “She immediately went to the neighbor’s house and called 911.”
When she returned with her neighbor, they saw the home had been ransacked.
Three of the home’s tenants reported several items stolen, including $7,500 cash and miscellaneous jewelry.
