CUMMING, Ga. – A car wash in Cumming was damaged to the tune of about $10,000, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.
Sam’s Mart, 1739 Buford Highway, reported that a customer drove a pickup truck and trailer hitch into the automatic car wash.
The car wash owner said that posted signs say trailer hitches are not allowed in the car wash.
One of the brushes got stuck on the trailer, and the pickup driver repeatedly drove forward and backward until the brush broke away.
The driver then exited his truck, unhooked the brush and drove away.
The car wash owner said he had video of the incident that would cost between $8,000 and $10,000 to repair.
